This is always such a packed month of activities. 2015 doesn’t look to be any different. My family has about 5 birthdays, my brother’s wedding, and every kid going back to school. Also this month my husband and I are going on a cruise (for my birthday this month)! Not to mention, I will also be going to MEPS this month (hopefully next week) and possibly even getting my interviews done.
As an education administrator, back to school is one of the busiest times of year. I’m swimming through pre-planning agenda creation, professional development workshop plans, and teaching assignments. I’m also trying to finish up my summer projects. Luckily, I only have one major project left and that is a data report showing the completion rate for each course and each teacher from last year. As an online program, this information is vital to our funding and our future. I’ve also been invited to this month’s school board meeting to be recognized for an award. That’ll be fun. With this flurry of activity, I know this month will fly by…and I will be that much closer to 40. Ugh!!
In the meantime, I hope everyone is enjoying the new look of this blog. I’m not super fabulous at programming or design, but I’ve been tweaking things here and there, and I think this is much better and cleaner while still maintaining my anonymity to a degree (future post about this coming soon).
I hope you have a wonderful start to your kiddo’s school year and a fabulous end to your summer!
